Steven Fonseca has spent his career as a creative technical leader of software research and architecture advanced programs. He works at the intersection of business and technology, utilizing expertise in enterprise, SOA, software, process, and information architecture to drive value creation for enterprises. He has held research, architecture, product management, and engineering management positions at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Hewlett Packard Labs, British Telecommunications Labs, Intel, NASA Ames Research Center, and eBay. His interests include service oriented architecture, REST architecture, ontologically-based information systems, enterprise-class middleware, the dynamics of organizational change, and R&D technology transfer. Steven completed his PhD in Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz in collaboration with HP Labs. Steven completed a MS in Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz and a BS in Computer Engineering from UC Davis. He also holds an MBA from UCLA.
